ask yourself this if thay can detect it wen your in your home happily playing it
then a dont se why and how thay cant detect it when thay have it right in front of them ;)

i have heard of ppl sending systems back that where modded but had red rings with no warrenty sticker and they still recieved a replacement.
not to say i would send mine in.

I have heard the same stories. Probably just because MS is trying to save face with a million unhappy customers so they were not really asking question, just fixing them to make people happy. But i am sure that once they feel that they have done enough that it will stop. If it has not already.
