I want to back my games and I'm looking for any suggestions on what Dvd DL media to use.

i agree totaly, i have used ritdata when i first started backing up games but after a bad scratch on GOW disk i re-did it on a verbatim disk and i could see a difference on how long it took for the drive to load the data, after that i used the ritdata disk for movie backups and bought a crop load of verbs from sams club for games.

Are phillips any good? I just bought a bunch of Phillips DL discs from supermediastore.com

I don't know, I experimented with a few kinds, my 360 will not play ANYTHING but verbatims. I recommend those and those alone.

Never tried Phillips for 360 games. But i use to use them for PS2 and Xbox (DVD-R 8X) all the time and they worked great.

i remember back in the day phillips used to use that AZO Dye but i dont know if they still do, they probably dont but as long as there not Crap CMC they will be good.
