Im tryin to play online but i think something is wrong with my xbox

no it cant be traced, and as far as you having a banned xbox you should just keep it, buy another not modded one and have the best of both worlds.

Fudpucker is right, take advanatge of having a modded console, and buy a new one to go online with.

I really don't care about going online. I just want to be able to play backups. Can your modded 360 play backups? If so, pm me if you want to sell it and I might be interested in buying it.

thats just wierd....seriously playing online is what the 360 and the ps3 is really about....

If I wanted to play online. I would buy a $400 video card for my pc and play planetside or world warcraft on PC as we all know that PC reigns supreme in Gaming. I want to play next generation games with excellant graphics and don't care to much about the mulitplayer online scene. Case in point. I have guitar hero II for PS2 but when I played it at Bestbuy on the 360 I was blown away on how mucah more detailed that game was over the PS2 version. And since my kids want to play these types of games as well, I will not buy any console that will not let me play backups. $60.00 for a game is a definate investment. And I can't afford to let me investment get all scratched up by my kids.

well you can play back-ups on the 360....
and go online with them atleast for the time being.

when you bought this console from the seller, did his auction listing say anything about it being 'modded' 'altered' 'flashed' 'banned'? becuase if it didnt, you could get your money back through ebay/paypal by stating it was false advertisement, not disclosing all the facts about the 360, ect. just my two cents worth on this topic.

yea he is definitely right i believe there is a 30 day limit so i would do that asap....

not sure about the 30 day limit, with paypal im pretty sure its either 60 or 90 days to file a complaint...or it might be 45, im not sure now that i think about it. but either way, he should hurry up and od something about it.

For some, but that's not the case for all. I'm about the great single player experience first and multi-player is a nice bonus. I like all type of games, but my favorites are epic ones with great stories like the God of Wars or Resident 4.

yea i understand where your coming from but these days developers are putting a lot of emphasis on the multiplayer aspect of games..
Resident Evil and God of War type games are built solely as one player games but halo 3 or any sports game these days are meant to be played online...
