IM THINKING ABOUT BUYING A 360 BUT I WANT TO KNOW IF THE THE HALO3 360 COMES WITH A hdmi PORT

why dont you just go to your local store and look on the box and see? it will say if it does. and no all caps posts please...its against the rules i believe.

Yes...no caps please. It's an eyesore. Anyway, yes, the Halo 3 Edition 360 DOES have a HDMI port. Also comes with the normal things a premium would have.
I know the Halo 360 does, but I also think all the new manufactured 360s have HDMI built in. Can anyone confirm this?

They all have HDMI now! If you go to the store and check the boxes, it will say if it has it or not!

I really do not understand people. Your going to pay an extra $50 just for a green Halo console, that doesn't even come with the Halo 3 game?
You could buy a regular Premium package with all the same stuff and Halo 3 for about the same price. Then if you wanted you could buy any number of different skins for it for $25 for a full kit.

whats with all the extra BS?? i was just asking to not use all caps in a message because for one its against the rules, for two, as someone else stated its an eyesore. and regarding the first part of my post, he could have used google, or went to bestbuy.com and found his answer there instead of posting a question that has been asked several times allready.

Actually i am well aware of how seriously some people take their favorite games. That is why they release $100 additions of it because they know some uber geek will go out and pay for it. Not putting them down. Everyone has things that they will spend extra money on that may seem useless to others.
But when i spend that extra $$$ i expect to get a significant amount of extra SOMETHING for it. I was just stating the fact that he should just buy a regular console, save the $50 and get the game with that money instead. I think lokote732 made a wise choice to just get the premium system.

The premium system at Best Buy is only $349.99 not $399.99. There was a price drop a few months ago.

Let me put you lot at ease, the only 360 with the HDMI port is the ELite no others including the halo edition (no matter how cool) has it its just a premium with the shell

yeah, i was about to say hold up, but yeah i know the Premiums/Elites/Halo Edition come w/ it, but i don't believe the Core unit does??? wonder if i'll get back a 360 from M$ w/ HDMI even though mine was older and didn't have one..... :(

Ook i have more info basically the halo edition is better then the elite with a huge BUT.
Basically halo editions made after the 24/08/07 contain the new 65nm processor's that are made to prevent the Red Ring of Death, the Elite does not contain these new chips so basically go and look on the box to see the manufacture date. if you google it you can even find pic of the chips and how to see it through the case with a flash light.
So bottom line halo console is better built BUT on on the ones made after the 24/08/07
