i've been thinking about firmwares of the psp...then it hit me!3.80?will it ever come out so they can compete with m33?(aka dax)would they have the evil mind to patch up pandora!?just some opinions please...don't just stamp on me and say stuff like"pandora is the best you frickin noob"or maybe"3.80 will never come out"just some opinions.if you think 3.80 will never come out then zip it!

Firstly i think sony will never giveup and release a new firmware sooner or later.
Secondly it is immposible for sony to patch pandoras unless they change the hardware.
So it will always work on fat psp`s no matter what.
Not 2 sure bout slims.

agreed^ they will not stop. however it seems like they would've made a new firmware by now though. i think they are waiting for dax to really be gone. haha anyways. it seems once he is out of the blue :'( that they will reelease the new firmware. Then we're kinda screwed again like when 3.40 OE-A was out and dax left... but M33 was dax then so now we really dunt have anyone anymore :( ...
anyways another thing to add about it is that there probly won't be so much firmware anymore coming out. Before it came out due to patch after patch after patch after patch... playing back and forth with Dark_AleX and n00bz. noobz seem to have calmed down a bit and dax is said to leave... so what do we expect from sony now... silence?

i think sony are stupid...lol...my reason that i say this is because pandora will get their psp hacked no matter what...unless sony patches up the battery somehow...oh, do you think sony will keep going until the psp it out of fashion?

probly they will stop when the psp gets old. but keep in mind they will 80% probly have a new psp after the 2000 so keep dat in mind. maybe the old one ("phat") will get out of fassion but they will make it for the new psp... and as long as its in .pbp then the old oine can play ithe update too.... so yea

i honestly can't think what handheld would be better than the psp...apart from one which could be the x360portable!i would definitely buy it, if it existed :D

they can't patch pandora (it's hardware based) (well they could patch new batteries to not be able to do that, but old batteries no)
Dax already stated he's done after this 3.71M33 stuff.
X360 portable will never come out, creative but unlikely (besides u wanna jam a DVD9 into a portable?) let's face it though the market the M$ is targeting is not really gunghoe on handhelds anyway, FPS/RTS on a handheld aren't the best sorry though, PSP will reign as the Handheld giant, that's just fact.
and eventually the PSP will end, that's just the facts of life.
who know's 3.8 might be homebrew friendly (hell 3.71 supports themes and sony dropped a theme creator, they're startin to get hints[barely])
