My PSP wont turn on after it froze on me. The PSP was switched on and I put it in the AC power adapter as the battery was running low. When I did that it just froze, I tried to turn it off by holding the button for 20 secs but no luck. So I took out the battery. After reinserting the battery it just wont turn on! I see no green light, nothing at all. It does charge tho

i've never needed to open my psp so i have no clue how to.but i guess chwoolgar has covered that question.now, if you want to check if your psp i damaged in any way then just pop down to your nearest game shop and ask them to open up the psp.it may cost, but if it's the last way of fixing your psp, then you might as well just do it.

i wouldnt recoomend opening it at all cant see how it wil help.
your battery might be damaged if you can get hold of another one try it.
I dont know if you have a CFW if you have you can try entering recover mode and see if that will work.

if he can't turn on his psp then he can't boot into recover.opening the psp could help him see if there's any loose wire's there.

if i were you, i'd ask sony to fix it.if they said no, then i would add some swaring into my conversation.if no luck, then call them a bunch of rip-off faggots.
