Pirates II tops file sharing charts,
p2pnet.net News:- Providing even more evidence that the only real pirates out there are the people who run the Big Six movie studios, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest became the fastest film to go beyond $300 million in Canada and the US, grossing an estimated $35 million in its third weekend, say reports.
Time Warner, Viacom, Fox, Sony, NBC Universal and Disney claim they're being ruined by another kind of pirate of they created ? people who use the p2p networks to share files, including digital movies and music, with each other.
So what happened with Pirates II, from Disney? Because not only was it Number One with the cinema-going public, it's also at the top of all three of p2pnet's Movies File Share Top Ten charts, which include BitTorrent, in the US and around the world.
By the weekend, an average of 49,397 people were using BitTorrent to actively download the movie at any given time, and the number of people logged onto the p2p networks was 1,485,734 globally and 887,392 in the US.
And on the weekend, a p2pnet reader kindly went to the trouble of posting earnings for the other movies in the current p2pnet Movies File Share Top Ten charts. Pirates II hadn't at that point rocketed beyond $300,00, but the numbers were impressive nonetheless.
The reader didn't say where he/she had compiled the $ Top 10, but be that as it may, they're interesting, especially when you remember that according to the Big Six's MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), the Big Six are being forced to close down torrent sites because their users are ravaging the Movie Biz.
01 >>> Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest $258,364,766
02 >>> Cars $220,001,446
03 >>> The Da Vinci Code, $214,891,691
04 >>> Superman Returns, $164,316,103
05 >>> Click $119,963,211 06 >>>
06 >>> The Break-Up, $116,095,220
07 >>> Failure To Launch 791,581, $88,658,172
08 >>> The Devil Wears Prada , $83,490,860
09 >>> Nacho Libre, $77,233,137
10 >>> The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, $59,855,120
Stay tuned.

Restore Missing CD Drive.
Win XP ONLY!
The popular CDGONE patch. CD drives may vanish in Windows Explorer, Device Manager, etc. if a third-party CD-burning package has been uninstalled and Registry references for some code modules aren?t removed successfully. This patch and a reboot usually will restore the missing drives. Any third party package still required will then have to be re-installed. For more information on this and other possible causes, see the ?Problems? section of Alex Nichol?s Burning CDs in Windows XP article.

Drag & Drop Fix. Win 2000, Win XP
Has repaired the very few cases of lost drag-and-drop ability we?ve encountered so far in Windows XP, and has also worked in Windows 2000. Don?t confuse this with the Win9x version ? there are small differences in the Registry structures involved.
XP Icon Repair. Win XP
Some users (very few) have reported that installation and use of XP PowerToys causes desktop icons to revert to older (pre-XP) forms. When this occurs, the cause is corruption of Registry keys which this patch repairs.
Disable CD AutoRun.
Enable CD AutoRun.
This is the fastest way to turn AutoRun on or off if the usual methods aren?t working for you. Useful for solving a variety of woes. ?Win-XP safe?
Restore JPEG Preview capability in Explorer.
JPEG preview capability is sometimes lost. This file stands a good chance of restoring it in Win 95/98. (It has worked in WinME & Win 2000 too.) ?Win-XP safe?
WARNING: This patch resets the JPEG program association to the Windows default, wiping out any custom associations. This has been the most successful JPEG Preview patch for many people, but does have this side-effect. Edit the file in Notepad to see instructions on removing this characteristic.

I think it's the confidence. When I have confidence I find that I get more respect :)
Then again, she was pretty pissed when I chopped my mop off. My hair was a foot long and curled up super tight. So it only looked like three inches. So it could be the thick, kinky curls too. She loves 'em :D

for those of you that remember the saga of my 9 year old swallowing the £1 coin last Wednesday, after another x-ray (2 hour wait in A+E) on Monday it finally came out the other end today. The one on the RIGHT is what colour the coin should be "Gold" as you can see his Stomach acid has not been to kind to the coin.
By the way before someone asks it was Tails

@box ... I hadn't thought about that. Maybe I should get some of those little blue wonders after all!
Actually, when I was in medicine many years ago, a guy did come to the emergency with an erection that lasted more than four hours but viagra wasn't invented back in the dark ages, his problem was that it was stuck in a vacuum cleaner pipe and the lip around the pipe sealed the blood flow. (Guess he should have used the lube!) Got him unstuck with a lot of vasodilators up his nose LOL!

@box ... he was about fifteen or sixteen and experimenting as fifteen or sixteen year olds will...he might have even been younger but was many years ago. Mom eyes were all red from crying and dad's were all red too but I think it was from laughing. Had another youngster who used a piece of lambs wool and an orbital sander. Two hours after his happy ending, he discovered, much to his shock and alarm, that it had become the color of an eggplant. (He was actually fine but had ruptured small surface vessels which discolored like when they do a bad job drawing blood). Well, I'd better move on before I get banned for obscene (if not distasteful) conversation.

@LOCO...LMAO! Something about the antics of kids that age amuses me. There is some truth to the old saying that "Boys will be boys". Naturally, I never engaged in unacceptable behavior at that age. I was actually thrown out of one high school but it was because my behavior was so exemplary that it made the faculty look bad ;)
I had a roommate from the PA Dutch farm country: I learnt from him that all the strories about kids and farm animals aren't made up LOL!

I wonder if Gerry1 is Noah from Noah's Ark reincarnated? First the basement full of kitties, then the farm animals?
Growing up in rural upstate NY we were surrounded by stories of people getting arrested for having way too much fun with farm animals, another serial killer, Robert Garrow claimed that was his reason for all the killings, he had sex with the critters and all the graphic details were published in the local paper everyday as the trial progressed. I wonder Gerry if it is time to stop civilization and let all the sane people off.
