Sorry away from the computer,
I was wondering did this person have a tv licence, but did'nt want to go there.
With relation to the lovely photo of a box, I was in a rental last year, did'nt or forgot to mention to the providor that we had moved in and got free basic cable for about 5 months, linked up our old pre Kryptview box without a problem
I'll be taking that to the grave.

Pressed the red button on the box by accident and put the box into standby and left it for about 30 mins, when I put the box back on it had rescanned all channels and it picked up a few extra channels also, it has tuned in lots of HD channels, Channel4 HD, Eurosport HD and Discovery HD to name just a few, when I try to watch a HD channnel it just gives me a blank screen.
Has anyone else got them? in Dublin on N*L just so you know.

think this relates to a post I was talking about freeview in dub, my TV pics these up also, think they are test chans. You should see a new chan Cork Community Chan its in the channel range 3000 i think

i have them channels on my box aswell, maybe about 2 months now , but never took any notice to them as i dont have a hd tv!

The Cork chan has been there the last weeks or so, wont show up on the main list, the test chans are there a while, my box dont pick them up, but my TV does on a scan, its a HD TV

Hi,
What are the difference between firmware 19032009 & 12072009, I have 19032009 installed on my Kryptview and it seams to be working well in North Dublin on NThell. Should i leave it alone or upgrade to the new firmware.
Thanks for any info.

They work in Dublin, but need to be flashed after you buy it, N2 and N3 are the different types of encryption.
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Your not allowed to openly suggest a site I believe, to be honest they are all the same give or take 5 pounds here or there, google Kryptview Arnet 750a, and then follow pages 1 through to 57, and if your still awake you will have endless channels.
Stocks seem to be limited so purchase sooner than later. Nothing more than 100 of the queens money.

there are markets that sell boxes openly in dublin but we are not allowed say or answer where?
but no problem to mention every where and every shop that sells them in the uk when some1 asks where to get a box or where they got their box!
where is the logic in that.

you cant link to them direct, but you can mention where, I am sure if I am wrong I will be corrected on this,
But who would buy sumtin from a market stall anyways? Who is to say they wont be there next week if you bought a bricked box? I wouldnt buy from a stall in a market unless its razor blades etc. ON the front page of the boxs working in dublin is a list of online retailers with good merit

I was'nt too sure what exactly could be said on recommending sites to buy them from, that part of this forum is very cloak and dagger, all these pm's of where to get them, a market can be great for veg and meat, but anything electronic your right id keep well away from.

thanks for your answers lads, cos i know a chap in a market who is there selling these boxes a couple of years now and they are just the same as the ones in the uk except 1 difference, money
but in saying that there are a few people who sell them around dublin door to door for maybe 10-20 euro more than what you would pay for them in the uk!
and for those of you who are going to ask me for names or address or where to go
i dont know these door to door dealers

got my KV from fergus 3 month ago. didn't beat about the bush TOO long when the eurovox went down.. only 100eur - my theory is if its gone as soon as u get it then you never really had it in the first place? and therefor lost nothing. thats my theory anyhow.. why i have no bank a/c - but honestly how long can you put off spendin 100 lids.

i have the Eurovox Max V 2008 black box....on Ch^rus (working grt in north co dublin)
I have MUTV and ChelseaTV etc...
anyone know how i get LIVERPOOL TV ?
after all im a liverpool fan and just missing this channel...wanted to chune into the Rapid Vienna friendly soon

so guys, an update to my saga. moved into apt tonight and plugged my kryptview in and scanned the n|t port. nothing found so I am guessing I am gonna have to order the u pee cee basic package.
my question now is...
when i go to the u pee cee website, the services available for my address/area are digital or digital+.
1. So am I gonna have to order digital from u pee cee or will they let me order analog?
2. will my kryptview work with digital?
3. if not, do I ask u pee cee specifically for their analog service? will they ask why?

The Basic Digital package, is what you need boxes do not work on analogue, as they are digital receivers.

I presume you are getting your standard 19 channels through the point, as far as im concerned going on my experience with the rental home in Dublin , you should be able to pick up all channels on your box, there is no need to order any digital package.
The box photo you showed was the same in that home. Try rescanning the box following the steps on these pages some where.
