Hey all, I have a 3.0U NTSC Wii running a Wiikey. After I flashed the unofficial 1.9b update my Wii failed to read burnt discs. However, now I'm out of DVDRs and tomorrow I'm going to buy some Verbatim DVD-Rs since I hear their the best. So, if I burn the recovery disc, and put it in my Wii and reset it, will it downgrade the chip properly, and then I flash the official update, will everything work fine?

well thats what the nfo file said on it

are u saying it no longer works with games u have successfully tried prior to update or just new burns?

if old ones work it could be a duff batch of blanks or duff isos

The old ones worked perfect before I tried to flash the unofficial update. And my legitly purchased games still work without a hitch.
