hi, i am planning to buy a psp off my friend and i wanted to know what is a reasonable price. It's in pretty good condition, works perfectly, 2 gb memory stick, system software version is 2.60, sony 3.6v 1800mah battery, and it comes with two games i don't really like; 007 bond russia rouselette and untold legens..please tell me what price is reasonable with and without the games. Thank you so much! And if you can, can you please tell me how much does it cost to buy a 5v charger and a 2 gb or 4 gb memory stick

depends, my friend. ask him what firmware his psp is. right now it could be like maybe like $150-190 CDN... i mean ebay can be about that much... but your friend might be a friend and charge less or more. and yeah... dunt tell him this but ask him what firmware he has. (say you are just curious)...

go to system settings > system info. it will say the following (not in order)
NAME: LALALALA
Version: X.XX <----thats what u check for me.
Mac Adress: 00:00:00:00:00:00 (for example).

I personally recommend that u do not buy those games, as u don't like them, and anyway, if u suddenly did like them, you could download the ISO/CSO file and then play them from ur PSP once hacked!!
Anyway, a 4GB MS costs around $100 off eBay (GENUINE SONY) and 2GB ($60?). Do not include the battery in the pricing because it should come with the Unit anyway. The PSP itself...well, since it's used, but still works and presuming you're not buying it with any extras, I'd say $140 - $180 is reasonable. Sadly, PSP units have a way of losing value when u try and sell them back to retailers :(

a 4 gig costs 80 bucks CDN...... in us less... i got mine for $50 CDN so it will not be 100.... yes and the games are a rip off because u can possibly mod ur psp for free so just download em.

What's CDN? And how does it compare to AUD? ($100AUD off eBay). Anyway marlino23, was it a genuine MS?

genuine ms means real memory stick.you can get a fake ms easily from ebay.never heard of the fake ms?if not, then be careful when you're searching for ms on ebay.you can get trapped easily into buying a fake ms.oh, btw they're not like really FAKE.
for example, you bought an 8gb card on ebay for a cheap price and you're probably very chuffed.but then it goes very slow and doesn't fit in your psp very well.then, it should be fake.we mean fake as in it could actually be a 2gb card instead of an 8gb.if i were you, i'd buy from a shop, but be careful from buying ms from shops too, as they can be fake aswell.just go to a shop like GAME or whatever to get one.

Yes, through the use of the universal unbricker/pandora's battery, CFW can currently be installed on all PSP units.

i've never been trapped by popular game shops before, but there's some people reporting that they have bought fakes and they couldn't get a refund from the shop.i knew sony was evil but i never game shops could be evil too!
2 evil companies that i have encountered myself.
ebay(bought my cuz a fake...my best cuz and i feel bad...)
sony-for official firmwares.well they're quite evil because if there was no sony then there's no psp.

1)you mean hack your psp to get custom firmware? yes.
2)depends on the size of the games.maybe the most you can fit is 3 games but if you find rares cso they could be compressed to around 50mb without ripping anything.
