Hey everone! I've just bought myslefe a new Xbox 360. And ofcourse I got one of the new Hitachi's. The 0097FL to be precise. So after doing some studying it seems i need the Maximus 79 pass key soldered to my DVD drive in order for it to get into mode B. Once the chip is soldered on they say it's just like the previous 0078 drive. Great! However there is one point I need to have explained. Is it that when the chip is soldered on, it always boots into mode B? And that i have to remove the chip in order for it to be able to boot normally? Or how does this work? Do i leave the chip soldered on 24/7 and let slax manage weather it boots in mode B or A just like the 0078 firmware? Thanks in advance!
