iPrep wont list IO and ID numbers?

so on iPrep i load my Fw (iextrme12 Rev c ) and then i check "Force from device" and then "Custom serial ATA" and when i hit "List SCSI based controllers" to get my VIA 6421a it says "MTKFlash cannot support this deivice" and it doesnt list mu Dev IO and Dev ID numbers? wtf?

i have a ms28 and am lanning to use the CD method to boot into DOS? what gives?
