I went and bought some Mr.DVD DVD+R today. I burned my ISo to it and to problems. I am at a certain point and the game sticks. I burned to many other brands(memorex, for example) and still no luck. I looked around saw that the brands I was using were crap. I am going to buy some Verbatim on Monday, and have some questions:

1. Are they really as good as people say they are, or are they over-rated? Tell me what you think of them
2. Does +R or -R matter? My computer can burn only DVD+R/W but my brothers can burn all. Which should I get? + or -?(if there's a difference)

3. What type will I buy? 8x?16x? Also what speed should I burn at? I am burning a 3.76 GB iso.

I suggest you take a gander and read about DVD media codes. These media codes tell you the class of your dvd, and the quality of it.

I recommend you use DVD-R, as this has better compatibility.
