hi i have a problem with my ps2 cover i have the slim one. When i put in the CD and close the lid the game doesnt start it goes to the browser page where i can see the memory card and what i have on it. However when i hold down the lid and press the power button it starts up and the game starts to load but when i let go it goes back to browser or freezes the game. I think there is something on the cover that pushes on a button or something to make the cd spin and its not working cuz when i push the power button with the cd inside the cd wont spin...can ne1 help me out

May be some plastic part inside is broken.
Just put paperweights or things on it!!

right now im just holding it down with tape...i might take it to my dads boss who knows how to fix things with ps2 just not sure what could be wrong
