I read the README.txt and i dont get the part where it says
"Installation instructions:
First method for both psp, the prefered when possible:
Requeriments: a fat psp slim with 3.52 M33-3 or 3.52 M33-4. Previous versions of M33 won't work,
due to a bug that affects them and OE; or a psp slim with 3.60 M33."
I have 1.5, does this mean i have to upgrade to 3.52 M33-3 or 3.52 M33-4. first before i upgrade to 3.71 M33?

following the steps included in this guide
to install 3.52 m33-4
i followed this step : "If you have are running on an OE or SE custom firmware, SKIP this step and proceed to STEP 2. Connect your PSP to your computer. Open the STEP 1 folder and copy kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher% folders to ms0:/PSP/GAME/. Disconnect your PSP from your computer and then on the XMB go to GAME > Memory Stick > KXploit Permanent Patcher. Run it. Once done, delete the kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher% folder from your ms0:/PSP/GAME/ folder. Proceed to next step." on my psp i went to game and saw the KXploit permanent patcher but im afraid to run it because under it there is a file that says corrupted data...should i run the permanent patcher?

Errr...after completing step 2 of this guide
i umm formated my psp( didnt know what the hell i was thinking...) so whe i proceed to step 3 where it says "Open STEP 3 folder and then copy M33Update4 folder to mso:/PSP/GAME150. On your XMB menu go to GAMES > Memory Stick then execute the update. After the update you will be back on the XMB and you now have 3.52 M33-4 PSP. Delete the M33Update4 folder from mso:/PSP/GAME150. From the STEP 5 folder, copy the seplugins folder to the root of your memory stick."
there is no GAME150 folder so i decided to make one. When i go to games nothing shows...should i copy the M33Update4 folder to mso:/PSP/GAME and try and run the update?

OK installing update 4 is easy enough. When you download this update:
http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?p=641826
Drag the PSP folder in it into the root of your PSP overwriting everything. Now go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run the m33-4 update. This will only take a few seconds.
Now re-format your memory stick and go to System Settings > System Information and check your firmware. If it says 3.52 M33 - 4, you're done! You won't need the seplugin folder unless playing PSX games...
PSP 1.5 - 3.52 M33
