I got an official 8MB memory card and I have troubles using it with some of the games. My friend gave me a copy of the original MGS3 and the backup doesn't want to recognize my memory card, yet my friend's memory card is working with the original DVD on his PS2. I fear that backups are the link to memory card faults. Is this true and can I fix that somehow?
Some other games that don't recognize my MC:
50 Cent: Bulletproof (NTSC)
One Piece: Grand Adventure (PAL)
Shadow of the Colossus (NTSC)
Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 (NTSC)
