ELF files freeze

Hey, I have swap magic and I use that to boot HDLoader, MyPS2, and Snes Station from the MC. I have it working and everything, the crazy thing is, when I put God of War 2 (DVD-5) or Tenchu-Wrath Of Heaven on the HDD all the .elf programs will freeze on start up. When I take them off, everyting is back to normal and I can boot everything up just fine. I use Winhiip to transfer the .iso to my HDD. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening. Thanks
