Hi - I'm new to this! So hope someone out there can help! I have a Sony Vaio PCV-W1/G which I've had for 3.5 years. About a month ago the Giga Pocket software suddenly stopped working. I can't recall if there were any windows updates but no new software was installed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Giga Pockect 5.5 several times with no luck. In device manager there is a yellow problem sign next to the Sony MPEG Encoder Board and it says the device cannot start. I have tried uninstalling this, and it has found it again automatically on next reboot, but still cannot start. The error it comes up with when trying to run is CHSETUP : 6003 Fail IInputInfo::GetAvailableBaseChannel() function.(0x80004005). Any suggestions? Thanks.
