hi i just hooked live up to my flashed 360. i just wanted to know the do's and dont's, and about stealth patches and all that to avoid getting banned. thanks

just use ixtreme 1.2
and whenever something asks for an update choose no..then go to xbox-scene.com and check if its okay to update :)

i believe iXtreme 1.2 didn't come out till around june...
so i wouldn't go online you might get banned...

thanks for the heads up. im thinking about flashing it myself, i got to opening it. is it complicated from there, do i need anything, or can i hook it straight up to my motherboard?

also on a side note make sure you know that only stealth games will play on iXtreme firmware. The way to check the file is to use DVD Mulleter which can tell you.

as far as updates, i say just do them. You really have no choice. Here are your two options.
1. do the update and possibly get banned which i have not seen happen yet.

2. do not do the update and you will be signed out of Xbox live (system update) or not able to play that game online (game update) at all until you update.

so you lose Xbox Live for sure without updating, and there is only a slight possibility you will lose it doing the update.
