Okay, don't flame me if I have this all wrong, but couldn't someone using a slim, once they have a custom firmware, use devhook to emulate 1.5? That would reduce the need to have the mythological 1.5 kernal for slim. Its just an idea, and I have no plans (or funds) to buy a slim, to test this out. I also have no experience with devhook, just a basic knowledge.
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB
Actually, it may work to *some* extent. I mean, the only reason you need v1.50 kernel is to launch the app, right? Just use the new eLoader for 3.60/3.71 kernel. I'm not so sure what would happen after you launch v1.50 in DevHook, but it would be kinda neat to try...
