I have a Wiikey installed PAL wii, there were a lot of NTSC-J games I like to play which are not compatible.
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/index.php?title=...patibility_List

I am look forward for the latest firmware will support more game, but sadly it didn't happen.

If that's the case, wiikey is not the best option for me on a PAL wii then ???

What is the chances of 100% compatiblity mod-chip ?

what they mean in their update readme is the goals which they set for that particular update mainly probably for the issue that most people complain about, but as long as their's a demand for wiikeys and there are bugs eg. compatibility issues, they will always find the need to update

No where in this quote from the readme does it say that they are not going to release any more updates. It just says that they have accomplished what they set out to do with this update.

Mark187, you shouldn't speak your opinion as fact on these forums. It's easy for you to lead a lot of people astray when you speak with authority and finality. Be careful to note replies as your opinion and not as fact.

Don't know about you but "finished what we set out to do" sound pretty definitive to me. As in finished creating the WiiKey modchip and it's software. I guess time will tell, but I for one will not be holding my breath for a future update.

As for expressing my opinions as fact, you could learn that lesson yourself. I've seen you do it numerous times, here for example, you tell someone to "always" use imgburn, when clearly a myriad other programs work just fine. As you say "finality and authority" can lead people astray.

you're grasping at straws now buddy. You drew your own conclusions based on what you though they meant and then answered as if it was fact. I give suggestions to people based on my own experience and make recommendations to support my experience. Since you have found how to use the search function on the site in search for something that you can give a retort, all be it a failed attempt, I will quote myself in that very post in which you so confidently pointed out.

"I've had issues with other burning progs and not a failed disc with imgburn at all."

This directly followed your quote but I see you must of accidentally left that off of your post. Lets dissect that shall we.

"I've" so adequately prefaces this sentence giving credence to the fact that this is indeed my opinion. I continue to say that I personally have not had a failed disc with imgburn therefore a suggestion to use this program is more than acceptable.

Here now let's quote your post

Quote:
Not going to happen. The latest Wiikey firmware is the final.
Again, that is your opinion based on what you assume the wiikey meant when clearly there could be a number of possibilities derived from the statements in the readme file.

Grasping at straws? I gave you a perfect example of your hypocrisy. If you are going to accuse people of posting misleading information it's probably not a good thing if you are guilty of the very same thing.

The follow-up sentence to your initial assertion is irrelevant when you accuse somebody of the exact same thing you are so obviously guilty of. Your statement about Imgburn was plainly misleading.

Here now let's quote your post

Yes it's my opinion. Welcome to the internet. I'd be willing to wager I'm right about both the Non region free Wii and the final firmware statement. As I said, time will tell.

the follow up sentence is irrelevant? Are you 14? Anything must be taken into complete context when considering its meaning! How is giving someone information on a program that many will claim to work with more success than any other misleading? Now you're just being juvenile but I'd expect that from someone who throws names after haven been proven to be wrong.

"welcome to the internet".

Congratulations, I didn't think you'd do it but you have just confirmed to me the idiocy of your statements. You have failed in an attempt to rationalize any stupid statement, rather misleading or just plane stupid, on the fact that the environment for this forum is the internet. I was going to continue to point out the fallacies in your posts but you have done a fine job of that yourself.

You have just validated any further comments that any user of these forums will henceforth proclaim regarding the stupidity and uninformed nature of your posts. And you did it all on your own. Whatever reputation that you thought you might have built up was just tossed out the window by your nonsensical rantings in this thread. That's okay though, I don't mind, less work for me.

Listen up everybody, its okay to post whatever garbage you conjure up in your own head because hey, it's just the internet! Remember to take this into account whenever you see a post from this kid! LOL

classic.

Hey guys, don't take it too serious of this topic I posted in the forum.

If wiikey will not become 100% compatible(or close to 100%), "MAY BE" a mod-chip (or swap disc) with better compatibility will become available.

Whatever retort you wish to add doesn't alter the fact that I called you as a hypocrite.

Quite frankly, I'm above your pathetic flaming.

i doubt the wiikey can be 100 compatible with region free, it possibly had something to do with hardware locked by Nintendo. Maybe a new modchip might be able to bypass it. And for those who hoping for a update from the wiikey...well keep waitng because they will be the last to update after the wiinja and cyclowiz updated like always.
