ok, so there's 2 achievements. "Irony" (picture seanders cohens corpse) and then the one where you enter his personal quarters. i know about how i need to save and all that. the question is, how do i get the grate off of the stairway that leads to his personal quarters?
yeah. for the "enter seander cohens personal quartars" achievement, i have to get down this staircase, but it's closed with a grate. i've tried telekineses, freezing it and hitting it with a frag, burning it lol everything, but i can't move the staircase

If you kill him at that point, you can't get one of the Achievements "Find Cohen's Room." A while later you will stumble onto Cohen's apartment. If he's alive, two Splicers will be dancing in the main room, with Cohen watching from his locked private room. Kill the Splicers and then Cohen comes out to fight you, thus unlocking the door and allowing you to earn the Achievement.
Hmm, is this on the same level, or not? Because if it is, I think I've been in his room, if that's the case then the achivement may have glitched or something
