is it good to use a tdk dvd+r or sony dvd+r using a 12x speed for burning wii games? did anyone encounter any problems with these media and settings?

I have not tested any of those settings, but I heard what works best is -r media as opposed to +r media and burning around 4x-6x.

I read that somewhere on these forums, thats what I do, so far no coasters (tdk dvd-r)

Lots of different factors.

I've got a fast cpu, newest Pioneer burner, TY 16x DVD-R's, and burn at 12x with no problems.

The old "burn at a lower speed" mantra held true a couple of years ago but not now.

You've just got to try and test.

Yeah, slower speeds do not really apply anymore. I burn at 12x using sony dvd-r's with 100% success.
