i am have recently reformated my hard drive -windows xp and put all my previous programs back on ie any dvd, dvd shrink deycrypter, c cleaner, nero 6 Here is my dilema my system just freezes up i have reloaded xp again and still getting same problem i thought it was dvd shrink but now i dont think so can anyone please give me any ideas thanks

i can get the movies on my harddrive but when i go to put on dvd it freezes i use verbatim dvds- and the dvd/cd drive is a Nero . I also have rip it 4 me on my computer but i had it before and didnt have any issues i am still working on why everyhting just freezes up

What do you mean by freezing up? Does it cut off? Are all of the internal fans operating properly? Are you ripping the DVD's to the HD first and if so are you using DVDFAB HD Decrypter: http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm. Are you ripping using AnyDVD to the HD First?

all of a sudden the mouse freezes i took side off computer off tonight and checking the fans.. after reading some posts that may be the problem the screen just freezes

The Mouse might be because of a bad cable, or bad PS2 port. How old is this computer?

i got the computer 2004...i have the optical mouse but hey i will try anything at this point..i have not had any issues until about 2 weeks ago. thanks for any help

See if you can borrow a usb mouse from a friend and see if that helps w/ the mouse freezing

problem solved had to replace the fan on the motherboard alls is good now that is why it keep freezing thanks for all the advise
