My box has gone down. It said bring back to dealer and went off. All there is are two green dots. Can anyone help.

You could try and update the firmware on to it , this can be found in the link at the bottom of my post in the Eurovox/Firmware folder
You will need a NULL MODEM CABLE to do this and the software DnUpMan to load the file on to it

Hi , try following celtic71 advice , if it doesn't work it will need to be jtagged , you will need a jtag cable , the 2007 tsop file and a screwdriver . If your in dublin i can help as i have all you need.if not let me know and i'll walk you thru it..the cable can be bought on ebay use the non solder one it have worked for me .

Where can I get a NULL MODEM CABLE to do this and the software DnUpMan to load the file on to it. Can I get these in Dublin.I am in Dublin.

Is there a procedure for loading the software. I have the cable. If there is a step by step way I would be grateful.

Its fairly simply ,your box should be on standby, run the dnupman program , choose the correct image for your box and hit start , the program should see your box version and start the download , just wait till you see the download successful window before unplugging your box and restarting.
if dnupman doesn't see the box well then it may be you have to Jtag.

Hiya, I'm still waiting for my jtag cable to arrive from the uk but with the postal strike over there it is taking time. Which part of Dublin are you in? How much will you charge to do a jtag?

No one should be charged if you are getting the kit I will tell you how to do it. And yes it is quite easy.

Not offended just dont like to see any member here having to pay as all the info you need we can provide. If you buy the jtag kit yourself it will come with all the info you need. I will give you the info on where to get it and even then if you have a problem with it I will help you out.
I am also from Dublin so if it got to the point that you could not do it I will do it for you free of charge as thats what Afterdawn is about.

I done jtag then loaded firmware but the number 126 comes on display thats all
