Downgraded my daughters psp to 1.5 from 2.6. Loaned it to my mother, she mistakenly updated to 3.03 and now I can't get it back to 1.5. Does anyone know if I can use 3.03? I thought I had a versin of GTALC unpatched version but when I load it, it shows the upgrade as 2.6. So I need a unpatched GTALC or I cannot downgrade? Do I need to downgrade or can I use 3.03 for games. Please help!

If your wanting to run Homebrew or PSP games from memory Stick then you need to downgrade it again.

If she updated to official 3.03 firmware then you need to...

1) Use Grand Theft Auto liberty City Stories game Exploit with update 2.0 (Not 2.6)

2) Update to 3.50 and use an unpatched version of Lumines.

3) Use the Pandora Battery Method (You need a FAT PSP that has 1.50 or custom firmware installed on it)

So if you have the Lumines unpatched version or you have a PSP yourself that is running 1.50 or custom firmware then it is possible to downgrade the PSP.

Thank you Larrlje for the info. I do have another psp that is running 1.5 firmware, it is also a downgraded one but it works fine.
can you direct or advise me as to how to downgrade the 3.03 with this
working 1.5?
