Just an interesting point I discovered tonight. All equipment I'm using is new within the last 6 months. HP hard drive with built in burner, Sony external dvd burner. I use DVD Cloner IV to copy the original and then Imgburn to burn the blank. I noticed tonight for 2nd time burned DVD as well as the original disc are jumpy when played in either the HP drive or the Sony drive. Was going to toss and start again, but decided to try on the stand alone dvd player (a cheapie, Phillips, which plays everythng just about). On the Phillips, the original disc AND the burned copy of it play just fine. So, point being, if you end up with a jumpy, jerky burned copy playing on your computer or external drive, try it on your stand alone dvd player and tv, it may work just fine. Mine did. I learn something new every day. Stupidly I threw away another burned copy last week that was similar without trying it out of the computer drives. Threw it away and made another. Same result. Didn't toss it but just filed it away to try at some point. I'm sure it will be the same success story . . . I hope!
