I just bought a psp version 2.60 from a friend, but I have found that you can't downgrade if your psp has an TA-082 (IG1003! Is there any possible way to downgrade V2.60 having a psp-1001?

Where did u read that? Your source is VERY outdated. There are MANY methods to downgrade ta-082 motherboard PSPs. Most recent downgraders will have a patch for ta-082 motherboards which allows you to continue in the downgrading process.

There is no downgrade for the OFW 2.6 itself, HOWEVER, u CAN upgrade to a FW which DOES have a downgrade available (don't ask me, my memory is foggy). The alternative (and by far the BEST solution) is to use a Pandora's Battery! This will downgrade your PSP NO MATTER what FW u are running on your PSP unit. Trust me, I downgraded my 2.81 and now I'm on 3.71m33-2 with 1.5 kernel addon :D

The only thing bad about Pan Battery, is that you have to know someone who has an hacked psp. To get the necessary files!

Remember, u can always upgrade to a higher FW which has ean exploit (3.03 + GTA:LCS & 3.50 + Lumines)
