some of my games like Pirates, Prince of Persia and sims doesnt save on the memory card whereas other games like Call of duty, medal of honour save with out any problem...when i save the games it say "ERROR SAVING" and when i check the saved games on da memory card...it shows an icon of corrupted data...these games used to save properly before...but now dey dont..any idea why???

btw here is sum info my my console:
Console: SCPH-50003
Browser: 1.40
CD Player: 2
Driver: 1.11
DVD Player: 3.00E

I am not sure but if your PS2 is modded
and
if you can Backup your saves, I would suggest you to FORMAT your memory card with
MCKiller
Info:
This tool perfroms a hard-format on the PS2 memory card. This can revive "dead" mem cards. When your memory card has uneraceable memory, corrupt data, it will erace your entire mc and will be like brand new.

Just burn this. This is LuanchELF The universal Launcher/OS for the PS2

also put the .elf(MCKiller) in that image with some progs like ISOBUSTER or UltraISO.

OR if you have USB drive FORMATTED to FAT/FAT32. you can put the .elf on it.

Boot the burned disc in PS2 and go to MASS once uLaunchELF boots up
& hit "O" on the Elf you put in there.

Or if you put it in the disc then go to CDFS in the menu.

from there follow on -screen instructions.

Another solution is this. I have the uLaunch 4.12 DVD uploaded to my folder(just click my name to the left)
It has the mckiller.elf on it if you need it.

But you could follow this guide to fix corrupted icons.:
