um yea my freinds samsung drive said MS 22 not 25 or 28

so modable or not

its either a 25 or a 28.
the 22 would have to be a miss print,
just read the orig firmware, if you can read it you can flash it.

It's not a misprint. MS22 and MS09 existed before MS25 in the pre-launch stage. There may have been a couple of other versions too. All Samsung drives are the same with the only difference being the firmwares. By the time 360 launched MS25 was the standard. Usually older firmware drives were updated to MS25 with a little MS25 sticker over the old number, but a few of those old number drives are out there. Just flash it like a MS25 and it'll be fine.

No problem fudpucker. I was a little confused myself the 1st time I saw a MS22. Actually it was the only time I saw one. They are pretty rare, but nothing it worry about. I flashed it fine.

yea i have only seen 1 ms22 i was like WTF?
i had to go do some research but just flash it like a ms25 and it will be fine.
