I put that file name into google & immediately got to a site where this file could be downloaded. If you still can't find it let me know & I can e-mail to you. However, after downloading I only managed to burn two movies. On the third, the system failed, giving an 'Error reading video data'. All subsequent original DVD's result in this message & I'm still waiting for a response from X-OOM to the problem. It will copy copies no problem.

Ycymro,
I have tried 'mcldecrypt' & it didn't work for me, it would start to read the DVD but when it got to 16% the PC would beep & that was it- never got passed that point!!
Please let me know what you hear back from X-OOM

You're right - mine gives up between 16 & 18% but error has now changed slightly - 'Error reading video data' screen disappears and switches to the 'reading & transcoding' screen - then gives an error message! Still nothing from X-OOM.
Downloaded smart ripper 2.41 for free (less than 500kb) and it successfully rips the originals. Once this is done, Movieclone will happily read/transcode & burn a copy (but with my 866Mhz it's slow - 2hrs!Am upgrading to an Athlon 2800+ next week)

@eky

with the updated version of X-oom Movie Clone
mcldecrypt doesn't work anymore

but you can use either anydvd from slysoft
(21 Days Trial Version)
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/anydvd.cfm

or dvd43 from Afterdawn (Freeware)
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd43.cfm

furthermore i would recommend to copy your DVD's
with DVDShrink as the picture quality you reach
with is unbeatable
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm

(As Shrink has no burning enginge, ou can still use Movie Clone to burn your DVD's.)

nobody needs mcldecrypt anymore!!!!!!
