Will Packard Bell External USB HD work on PS2?

Hi

I got a new Packard Bell USB Harddrive to use on my pc, but it got alot of space left and i was wondering if would work on my old PS2 model with a pretty bad lens these days.

It's not modded or anything, though i have Swap Magic, will it work? And if so, is there any guide or could it easily be explained?

you have to use usbadvance
transfer the games with usbextreme(the only way)
but the compatibility of usb drives and ps2 games sucks
use an internal hdd don`t waste your time tryin to do it with an usb solution
look at the compatibility list on http://www.ps2hd.com/list/ and you will see only 1 from 30 games will work

I'm going to try using Fire Pro R atleast.

Doi have to format the harddrive or can there be other files on it?

Just open the case,

Remove the HDD and put it in the PS2.

You will have to format the HDD as it has to be in the PS2 format, and can't be used for PC and PS2

Well only if its the Fat one.

i had formatted my hdd with hdloader i can see the hdd only in winhiip
with usb drives you have to format your hdd with usbextreme the hdloader format will not recognized by usbextreme
idk if you be able to put other files on it but you see the hdd in your explorer instead of hdloader hdd`s but all games on it are splitted to 1gb part`s
