I have two 360, elite and firmware modded premium, the question i have is can i take the 20 gig and retreive my gametag on my elite, redownload the games i bought, then move it back to my modded 360. wanted to know if that will work.

ok , retreived my gametag, but now it want to do a update to my modded system, says to update security and functionality. can update with out any problems

depends on the firmware.
if you have the ixtreme than there should be no problem.

fudpucker, i have ixtreme 1.2 hitachidrive, but is used for backed up games, the person i bought it system from already got banned from live. I just don't want it to shut the system down all together

you wont have any problems, i too have a banned system and i swap drives and gamertags around with system i play online with often and have had no problems.
