need help, dont know what's wrong. everytime i load my backup disk it keeps telling me unplayable disk, then after so many tries, it would load up. sometimes i have to leave the xbox on for good 20 mins then open and close tray again before it starts loading up my back up. im not sure if this was asked before but i tried to search and it doesnt have the same situation that i have. if this was posted before pls point me out to the right direction. i think the firmware that is installed is ixtreme 1.2

Did you burn the game yourself?

i have the same exact problem too.

when the backup game finally works, it works flawless as if its original but i have sometimes over 30 minutes just to open and close the tray to be able to play a game.

The originals works immediatly. dont know whats wrong here

do you have older firmware? They could be using the newer splitvid format to make the games and some older firmwares have problems with it. If you want them all to work invest in a Samsung DVD-Rom drive with Kreon firmware from Ebay and make them yourself.

This works for my and no pauses - ever!

I presume you have downloaded the latest versions of the software you use! I find I can use any burner if I make the ISO with Schtrom and burn with Imgburn and Verbatim DVDs. I do not verify either as it takes too long. One last thing, unlike many other people here, I burn on the lowest speed I can (old PS1 & PS2 habit) and I have never had a duff game :)

Good luck m8!

Guys, I seem to have the same problem. All my backups in the past month have a "Disk Readable Error", these all worked perfectly until Halo 3 was released. I have a feeling the makers at Halo 3 put something in their software purposely to cause us not to play our backups. Suddenly the only thing I can play are my originals. They load smoothly but when you load the backups there is a sudden stop in the disk drive. Now there was a suggestion by some people to remove the hard drive in order to play the bAckups and they were correct, they work, only problem you can't save and you can't go online. Does anyone else have this problem??? I'd like to hear from you.
