Hi there. My question, May be a bit retarded, But really only want to be safe! So if i use an ntfs4dos cd to get into dos, Would'nt my HD be at risk if i flash my 360 with it connected? Or, When i get into dos with the disk, Can I then disconnect it?

you should always disconnect any devices that you dont need for flashing. so hard drives and extra cd drive should be unplugged. then it should be safe to flash if you follow the directions right.

the ntfs4dos disc copies the original.bin onto the hd since there is no usb or floppy so he can disconnect it....

ntfs4dos is the way i do all my flashing of 360 and i have not had any problem, i do know there is a risk but my only option.
what i did was i bought a used 40 gig hdd drive for almost nothing and set windows up on it, so before i flash i remove my reg hdd and hook up the 40 gig and flash away, if it does ever flash the hdd i have not lost anything other than a old cheap hdd.

I have lost all and any respect i had for this site!
