if you are on 3.71(this is for my friends psp) is there anyway to get it to 3.71 m33???
or could i brick it, use pandora get it to 1.50 then upgrade to 3.71m33 or is that impossible as slim doesnt support 1.50 firmware i thought....
so question is:
1.) if you are on 3.71 on a psp slim can you get to 3.71 m33 anyway at all???
cheers

You need a PSP running 1.50 or any version of custom firmware to make a pandora battery, 3.71 also needs pandoras battery or the universal unbricker to downgrade to 1.50

this is what you have to use: the universal unbricker v3. it puts ALL psp's to 3.71 m33-2. it doesn't have to be bricked; you can use it whenever.
but to make the universal unbricker v3, you will need to use a fat psp with custom firmware.
there is no other way to put custom firmware on the psp slim without pandora's battery/universal unbricker.
ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure
got a whole lot more to list . . .

the universal unbricker is a modified magic memory stick. you will STILL NEED pandora's battery.
you have choices on how to get the battery.
1.(easy, free and recommended) use a fat psp with custom firmware to make it.
2.(easy, but will need to mail) send in battery/memory stick to a reputable person
3.(easy, but costs money) buy a datel tool battery
4.(easy, but not recommended) buy a ready made pandora's battery from ebay
5.(hard, only for pros) open a REAL sony battery, and remove a pin
