Hi there.
I have an ms28 drive flashed with 5.2 a firmware.
i want to update to i extreme firmware so i can play my games on line.
Unfortunately i don't have my original firmware .
Can somebody tell me if its possible for me to update without my original firmware and how i go about it please.
Would i use xbm and follow the same procedure to flash an ms28 but with the ixtreme firmware?

you can just do it like a normal flash since you have your key intact on your 5.2
but you will use iprep instead of xbm since thats whats used for iXtreme....
make sure you keep your new orig.bin in a safe place after you flash...

Can you tell me if there is a difference between the slow and fast firmware?
Does the slow one read discs better?

i use the slow i dont know if the difference is really that big though....
i have also flashed the fast to some drives but i see no real difference
