WINRAR bin file problems

when i try to use winRAR on a particular bin file,i get a message saying "the archive is either in unknown format or damaged. Is my download a dud, or is there some way i can make this file work?

If i do have to burn my CUE an BIN files onto CD, what do i do after that?What is the purpose of burning the files onto CD in the first place?

It may be damaged, but I couldn't tell you how to fix it.

The purpose of burning to a CD is so the files within the bin are, so to speak 'extracted' to the cd during the burning process. Once burned the cd will contain all the necessary files to launch the app/game or whatever it is.

1. WinRAR doesnt open BIN files. Just ISOs -- but you dont have an ISO do you? ;-P
2. A BIN file is essentially a copy of the CD stored in one/two compact files.
