I ripped an iso of my game Tales of the Abyss. The game is scratched, I bought it used and was in terrible condition. I ripped an iso from it.
When I insert the Original game in my drive and view its contents, its 16 files which equal 3.75 GB. Then I burned the game numerous times at different speeds, on memorex, TDK and eventually Verbatim)the best) When I insert the backup into my drive it also has 16 files on its contents that equal 3.75 GB. Therefore they are the same. The game runs fine until one point. It wont load regardless. I tried the loads of media and different speeds. I used verbatim even with different settings and still the same. sticking in one place. its not my ps2, i tried on my sisters new ps2 and my bros old one. still no success. My question is:

Does Tales of the abyss stick at that certain point while using swap magic? Someone please help

Let's think about this some more, k?

If the original game is scratched, and it gets stuck at a certain point, the backup copy will retain that same scratched point, right?

I am amazed you were able to copy the game, as the scratch should have prevented you from copying.
