Can't get audio on Sony dsc-h7

I bought a Sony dsc-h7 last week and it has a feature that allows me to put .mp3's on the thing. I go through the software they supplied with the camera, it shows it's on there but the camera it's self will not recognize it. As it's on the memory card but when you try to call it up on the camera it is not there. The audio formats are supported (.mp3) any suggestions?
