I recently came across an xbox 360 with the dreaded 3 Red Lights of Death. I decided to try an x-clamp modification, which seems to be one of the best ways to solve this problem. I followed the instructions carefully, but as soon as I turn it on, it gives me the overheating error message and shuts off it's fans. It doesn't even get to the dashboard, it literally happens in the first five seconds. If some one out there could make a suggestion on how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
