Hi all...

Dispite reading pages and pages of info I still have a few little questions for you guys..

1) I need to re-sync the audio with the video. Q: What can I use to convert the original VOB into mpeg, so that I can put it through VirtualDub.



I know I sound really dumb to ask what must be quite simple a question...but I am new to all this!

UM...VOB Is Mpeg, and to Load a VOB file into Virtual Dub you will need the Mpeg2 version of Virtual Dub which you can download here :
http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/stable/VirtualDub-MPEG2.zip ....
You will also have to install this AC3 decoder so that V-Dub can read the audio ...
http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/AC3ACM/AC3ACM.zip ....But even after all of this I still do not Know how you are going to Use Virtual Dub to resync a Vob/Mpeg2 file cuz Virtual Dub can open Mpeg files But it can not output to Mpeg format so it is Not going to do what you want it to....Is your Problem that the audio in your Vob/Mpeg2 file Out of sync??? If so then the Best way to fix it without haveing to convert the VOB file to anything else is to First De-Mux the Audio from the Video so you will have a Mpeg2 Video file(M2V) and an AC3 audio File, then you just have to Mux the audio and Video back together But with the Audio is Sync, You can do this with the Muxer in Mpeg2VCR, but it is a Tricky thing to do and you don"t seem to really know what you are doing so it might end up being a Tricky Ordeal......Good Luck ..You"ll need it...Cheers

I want to play .VOB files in browser by using Windows media player 9. Please help me in this context.

You Can"t.....You need a Mpeg2 decoder installed and an AC3 decoder..You should use a software DVD Player to play VOB files not Media Player....

Thanks Minion for replying me. But I want to play .VOB files in browser. So How I can embed browser for Dvd player. As you know media player is easly embed in browser, so there fore i want to .VOB files in media player 9. Please help me for this context.
