My son accidently bricked my PSP the other day which was already running a downgraded custom firmware anyway. I've been in touch with Sony telling them my PSP has just stopped working and they've arranged a replacement. It's to land on tuesday and I'm to give my bricked PSP to the courier. Will Sony know that I'd downgraded, and if so what will happen. Also, what firmware do you think will be on my replacement PSP (just so I can prepare meself to downgrade it).

Thanks in advance for any help.
itd be better to just get a pandora now because he is right, they will send it on 3.71 so you cant do any homebrew there without a pandora. and is this under your warranty or what, if it is then yeah they will care because you voided it when you downgraded. but if it isnt its just sony being nice even tho u dunt have one, then they might or might not care.
Well like I say, they are fetching a new psp on tuesday, via parcel force (an average delivery company), and I'm to give the courier my bricked PSP. On the phone, sony took the PSP model number but didn't mention anything about a reciept, all they want back is the psp, battery and charger. So whats the worse that can happen after tuesday (after tuesday, I'll already have my new psp). There is also no way I can get pandora before tuesday, although it looks like I'll have to get one to downgrade new psp. My bricked psp is 1 year old come november, I told sony that but they didnt ask for proof, unless they can trace that from the psp model number.
