I have a Bricked PSP. I have a Tool battery and a converted Pandora Battery. I also have 3 MSPD (512 mb, 1gb and 2gb). Each has a different version of Unbricker or Pandora. NONE OF THEM WORK. I have the Memory stick in the slot, Insert the battery and EVERY LED LIGHTS UP BUT NO MENU APPEARS. Dont tell me the stuff was done wrong, because I had a "Professional" from Illinois do the stick. He tested them and they all work.
My question is: Is my memory stick slot cooked? Before the PSP was bricked, the memory stick slot worked just fine and dandy. I called Sony about it, however, my warranty is up so I have been boned. Either I cough up the $90 to get it fixed or I save up for the new PSP. I wanted to unbrick my PSP and sell it for $100, thats why Im angry.
If indeed the slot is cooked (Which I have never heard of before. Is it common?), can I open the PSP (And void the warranty sticker) and fix the memory stick slot? Is there any way of doing that at all?
only the battery light should stay on. the wifi and memory stick lights should blink after the battery is put in. if you're wifi and memory stick lights stay lit, then the magic memory stick was created wrong.

Are you ABSOLUTLY POSITIVE? I was on the Noobz board and they suggested a total hardware failure. But I dont see that happening. I mean, jeez, I have never heard that anyone ever had an entire hardware failure due to a brick.
Can anyone point me in the direction of finding someone to fix my PSP for me? Im willing to pay shipping and handling + a donation to that person. Thanks!
The brightness button Does jack for me. Nothing, zip, Nadda. The menu doesnt come up. 20 seconds passes by and all the LED's shut off. Is there any documented case of a Hardware failure with a Brick? Is there any way of recovering from this? Im willing to cheat stores or open my PSP. TRUST ME, IM DESPARATE!!!!
Can someone explain IDStorage? I read about this and learned that other people like me are having the same problem. About this "IDStorage"...Am I totally boned?
A brick causing a hardware failure of some sort? Hmm I don't think so lol. I'm not sure how to help you but it does seem like the files don't seem to be correct? Are you sure the sticks have the right files?
