ma friend deleted all his flash0 files on 3.71 m33 and it wont work wat should he do

Go into recovery and select advanced then format flash0

there is no format flash0; it's format flash1.

you'll need to reinstall 3.71 m33 on his psp. the universal unbricker v3 will put him straight to 3.71 m33-2

you'll need to make the universal unbricker on a custom firmware psp. if your psp is running custom firmware, then you can create it.

If he can't go into recovery mode then use this GUIDE to create the universal unbricker/upgrader. You will need another PSP running CFW above 2.XX to do this.

My Phat PSP History : 1.50 > 3.40 OE-A > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33-2 (semi-bricked) > 1.50 (Recovered) > 3.40 OE-A > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33-4 > 3.80 M33-2 > 3.80 M33-5 > 3.90 M33-2 + 1.50 Subset.

That only works in XMB not Recovery menu.

If you can go into Recovery Mode then go HERE and go toward the bottom of the GUIDE and use the section that says "If you are on 3.71 M33/M33-2 and Semi-bricked"

I just assumed they already tried going into recovery menu since he said he couldn't access the flash0/flash1

every thing goes well until i get to the msipl part and it says
"Target Drive is 1
check partation sector
cannot open device
cannot read partation sector
