I was thinking of getting a psp slim, but I read in some places that it doesnt work with the 1.50 homebrew, and some places that said it does work. So i dont really know if it is currently hackable, and if it is, what is the best solution/firmware out there right now that can play majority of the games?

now the second part of the question... Is there only certain memory cards that works with the slim and using it to play iso's? and is there any restriction in size? and what is possibly the best one out there right now?

thx in advance for help

the slim can accept custom firmware. i have one, and it's running 3.71 m33-2. it doesn't accept 1.50 because the motherboard was redesigned. that means 1.50 homebrew cannot be run on the slim. many homebrew creators are starting to remake the homebrew so it's compatable for the slim.

all memory sticks work. but never buy them online, especially ebay. there are fake memory sticks. it'll be a rare chance to get a real one online. always buy them from retail stores. it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

you're on the right track about memory stick sizes. a 4gig is sufficient enough, but a 8gig leaves room for more. my 4gig is already near capacity. some games are really big, even after compressing. i'm waiting until i can get a 8gig.

the adaptor is for use in other devices. computer memory card readers, digicams, music players, ets. it makes it into an original memory stick. it's not needed for the psp.
