I'm using AnyDVD to decrypt it, DVD Shrink to back these up, and Nero to burn them. I like all of my programs and have yet to have any problems with them. While backing up the Friends DVD collection, however, I am unable to choose individual episodes after burning the DVD. I am able to play all episodes, but when I click on the episode selection option from the main menu it will stop playing. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!

I had the same issue, its not a big problem, but if you rip the whole disk using dvdfab plat, Customize, you can select the continuous video or select the shows seperately. i dont think it has an effect on the compression though?

Using DVDShrink, you can select individual episodes, but it is more of a pain. Once you select the video and it finishes it's initial analysis of the dvd, right click on the title (underneath the Re-authored dvd on left hand side). There is a start/end frames option. Now just select the dvd chapters the episode falls under. Let me know if this helps, I can take screenshots if needed.

I'm just trying this again with season 6. Is there any way to do this using Full Disc backup on DVDShrink?
