I tryed xillisoft to convert avi to wmv so i could stream to xbox360,there was a noticeable loss of quality.The avi files were 624x352 after converting to wmv they were 340x???,what else could i use that keeps original qaulity?

SUPER © is a great converting and encoding program. IT can convert any format to virtually any other format and the program is free and needs no crack. You can get it here

I'm using winavi which has an option "Keep original picture size", and the output quality is acceptable.

Cucusoft AVI to DVD VCD SVCD MPEG Converter Pro- works well although it's a program you have to buy ! there is a freeware version but it puts a logo for their website smack in the middle of your video image ! the paid version does'nt do that and also has a burning utility that you can use either with or without the program ! I would make a safety copy of the program in case your HDD goes kaputskY!!!
