I finally decided to mod my ps2. Its an og, v.1, the only failure on it so far is i can no longer watch dvds on it. No loss as i use an upconversion dvd player for that. I dont want to spend to much money on the chip and plan to solder myself. I just want to know what a good chip is and where to get it. Every site i have been to claim they are sold out. I only want it to play a modified copy of Guitar Hero 2.

A chip that i highly recomend is the Matrix Infinity (Greendot), i got mine from www.emodchips.com.au, i have had mine installed for 3 months and it stil works great.
