Hi.
I know that as of know there is no hacked firmware for Benq but if there was one, is flashing it the same process as the one for samsung and hitachi, because I got myself a Xeno top gear the same thing as Blaster 360 and I was planning to use it to flash my drive when the hacked firmware came out.
Appriciate any help.
P.S. please explaing your answer.

Reportedly, the creator of the iXtreme firmware, C4E, is waiting until after the Fall Update (~end of Oct.) to release any firmware for the Benq.

If you have the Benq, then the Xeno/Blaster may have been a waste. As it stands right now, the Benq drive needs a switch soldered on to it's mobo to be able to read/write to it.




So the 360 will have to be opened... defeating the purpose of the Xeno/Blaster.

Now, it's always possible in the future that there may be a way to just do a software flash (no soldering) for the Benq. And if so then maybe the Xeno/Blaster will work for flashing.

But chances of that being anytime soon are pretty slim. Even though the Benq firmware is (reportedly) being held off until after the update, if there was a way to read/write the firmware without soldering then it would have been posted around the web right away.
